colt derranger
i have a colt derranger single shot pivot barrel in 22 short the gun is nickle plated and has white plastic grips and is about 98%... top of thr barrel is engraved -COLT- left side is engraved 22 cal short colt's P.F.A. mfg co inc HTFD, CT, USA and on the frame directly under the barrel 373N is engraved.... any info about age, model, and value would be greatly appreciated...

Your Derringer is a modern ( circa 1959 - 1963 ) replica, of the 3rd Model ( Thuer ) derringer that was made during the late 19th & early 20th Centuries.
Your Derringer is referred to as the "Fourth Model", and was manufactured for Colt by the Butler Manufacturing Co. They were manufactured in great quanity, ( over 100,000 ) and has nominal value as a novelty only. $75 to $125.
