1911 guide rod damage
i have a kimber custom target II, when i first had it i think i must have put the recoil spring on backwards because after that day of shooting i noticed that the guide rod was grooved like the spring had been dragging on it. so i switched the spring and havent noticed any additional grooves, should this hurt my pistol, and should i get a new guide rod, or does it matter.

How deep is the groove? How does the gun function now? 0 -
the grooves are very very shallow, i would guess maybe .25mm i dont know, i dont think they are deep enough to affect anything, the gun still functions perfectly. 0
