Info on 1873 Trapdoor Springfield
Well the "Gun Gods" are looking down on me again.
The guy that cuts my hair ask me if I could take some old guns off his hands, I told him that I would look at them and make an offer.
He told me no offer needed just get them out of his house, they belonged to his grandfather and he hates guns just wants them gone!
So as it turns out one of the guns is a 1873 Trapdoor Springfield in very good condtion, the ser# is 3028xx
The other guns are:
Ithaca Mod 37 Featherweight 12 GAUGE Excellent condition
marlin 989m2 22 cal Semi-Auto Good condition
303 British Enfield type 3H
Anyone have date on the Trapdoor and any good source of information on these.
If you Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail.
