Hi Group!

I would like to know the value of a US Marlin 1873 Caliber .22 handgun. It's in almost perfect condition.

  Welcome to the forum sir! I am not sure precisely what you are referring to. Marlin made some Derringer type pistols in various calibers and I believe a few revolvers as well. Most of them are in the $300 to $400 range in very good condition but there are a few variations and rarities that command much higher sums. You will need to post pictures and give a much more detailed description before anyone here can be of much help! I'll keep an eye out for future posts on this from you.

  Hello varocho, and welcome.
  I had a Marlin 1873, 5 shot revolver in .30 cal rim fire,---- (yes .30 cal.) in fair shape.
  I did some brief research on it. I think I received a lot of info from this forum. It seems that most of the patants had run out on the S&W tip ups and the Marlin was a close "copy".
  I sold the .30 cal for $250.00 at auction about a year ago.
  In .22 cal it may sell for more.
  PLEASE DO NOT FIRE THE WEAPON!!!! It was made for black powder.
