Headspace?.....SKS...

with the firing pin and extractor removed, the bolt WILL NOT close on both the GO and NO GO gauge. What's wrong[?] Used it on my ak-47 also and it worked ok, the bolt closed on the GO and did not on the NO GO!!

  1. YOU MAY HAVE AN OBSTRUCTION IN THE CHAMBER (BROKEN CARTRIDGE CASE, DIRT, RUST, ECT.). 2. YOU MAY HAVE A SHORT CHAMBER (REQUIRES CUTTING THE CHAMBER DEEPER, OR A DIFFERENT BOLT). 3. YOU MAY HAVE A 'BURR' ON THE RECEIVER OR BOLT. THIS RIFLE MAY STILL FUNCTION WITH SOME AMMO IF THE CHAMBER IS SHORT.
