It is a Sig clone, not a real Sig.

It was originally made in Yugoslavia before the Civil War in the 90's. Sold in small numbers stateside as the CZ 99.

During the Civil War production was transfered to South Africa, and the pistol was then sold here as the TZ 99.

As the previous poster noted it's not a product of SIG - SAUER.

Actualy its design is much more closely related to the Walther P88, but they don't refer to it as a clone of that since not too many people know what that is. The gun has ambi controls for the mag release, slide release and decocker, a chamber loaded indicator, and usually a very nice trigger pull. The grip is a bit wide for some however.
