Age Requirments for "Assault Rifles"

What is the federal law age requirement to buy a Colt AR 15 or a Romanian AK ? Is it 18 or 21 . Thanks

The age to purchase Rifles is 18, 21 for handguns.

But, some states/local areas have further restrictions, & these take precedence over federal law.

federal law says its 18, but some states might restrict that, i do not know of any though. i know i was 18 when i bought both my bushmaster A2 20" and my WASR-10 (romanian AK).

In California the age is 0, because nobody is allowed to buy these guns.

In Minnesota you have to have a handgun purchasing licensce to buy assault rifles "I just drive 5 minutes across the bridge and buy them in Wisconsin, taxes are cheeper there to"

Hanguns are 21

Is that just "pre-ban" guns or does that also uncompass something like a post-ban AR-15 or a Romanian SAR-1s too?
