High Standard, Supermatic Citation
I recently obtained this pistol. It is a model 107. I would appreciate any information on how to find an owner's manual for the pistol.
Also, can anyone provide a price range for this pistol? It is approximately 95% condition. Five and one-half inch barrel. Stamped as follows: High Standard ,22 LR, Supermatic Citation, Model 107, Military, 231xxxx.
Thanks in advance, Jack

High Standard is still in business and have a website. They'll probably send you one if you ask. ************ website can give you a fair idea on resale value. $200 to 500 range last time I looked. 0 -
Comrade Brother intervened and cut out the website name. If you think of the word a u c t i o n, followed by those two other limbs you have that are not legs, then you have the name. 0 -
thanks boltthrower for the reply....and nice job on the secret code. 0 -
High Standard Model 107 made around 1968. Wonderfully accurate pistol. If in even reasonably decent condition is over $450. NNIB would be closer to $650. The 106s and 107s are particularly sought after as they were some of the last numbered military cut High Standards. I think after the 100 series the serial numbers went to the ML sequence....and those pistols are not as highly valued. Beach 0 -
the prices you have received are fair quotes. the order of high grade hi std target gun mfg runs were: e, ge, 100, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, numbered series, ML, G prefix, SH, & V suffix. the 107 as 'beach73' said, is one of the good ones from hamden. its a very accuarte gun and well worth the price paid for it. if you need to know its secrets, feel free to ask. i'll be glad to fill you in on how to tune it.[:p]
