Colt Trooper 357
Did Colt make a Trooper 357 in a 2 inch Barrel? I can't find it in any Books that I have. If they did what would they be worth? Thanks.

You sure you ain't thinking about a "Lawman", or possibly somebody put a Lawman 2" barrel on a Trooper?

I sure Rufe's on the right tract. I remember years ago Numrich offered 2" bbls that would work on the Trooper and the Lawman.

The original Colt "Trooper" was made from 1953-69 in .357 and .22, but only with 4" and 6" barrels.
The "Trooper MK III" was made from 1969-83 with 4" 6" and 8" barrels, no 2".

I had one and it would group a circle. It wasn't Python quality by any measure and I'm not even sure it was a poor copy of a Trooper, either. I was happy to trade it off. It did have the "nice" Colt trigger feel, tho. I think you can find a better shooter in a S&W or Ruger. My opinion 0
