Remington Model 24 receiver

This is a Browning patent, 22LR, semi-auto, take-down model. Similar to the 'Explorer' rifle. The barrel unscrews out of the reciever for portability, came with a carrying pouch.

Need a replacement receiver for the rifle. It is my neighbor's and the rifle belonged to his granpappy. The receiver was cracked (along top/sighting plane at the barrel end) when he received the rifle. He just wants to get it shooting again.

Is it Numrich Arms that handles scarce/obsolete parts? There is an outfit in West Hurley NY...is that Gun Parts, Inc. or Numrich?

  Yep- Numrich and Gunpartscorp are the same. Good place to start....
