95% runs $200-225 in this neck of the woods.

DOM is a little tougher because the s/n given falls in a range of 1961-70 when the model was discontinued at s/n 826977. SWAG says 1965 or 1966. To be more precise you will need to contact S&W.

As for your trade, not sure what model and condition the 22 Colt. semi is/was, but you may have come up short on the deal as even the bottom of the Colt 22 semi-auto line, the Cadet and the Colt 22 or Colt 22 Target all book at or above $225 at 95% condition. However as long as your happy, what the heck ... enjoy it, M-30's are good little pistols.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

I'm OK with the trade. Wasn't all that impressed with the Colt (never used it after shooting it one time). I'm basically a revolver person anyway. Much rather have a mid-'60's S&W (or Colt) revolver that an '80's or '90's auto. I still may have to buy a Walther P22 though, just to keep the P99 company.[:D]

"One day lad, all this will be yours."
    "What, the curtains?"
