norinco 1911 45acp ?
looking at 1 of these in 95% cond,i can buy it for $300.what is the quality of these guns? is this a good price?any info is apprec thanks don

I would dismantle it except for the hammer spring, and see that it both comes apart and assembles as it should.
There have been some favorable comments here on shooting the Norinco.0 -
On the Norinco 1911s that I have seen and worked on. They have among the best machining and frame and slide steel that I have run across on a production gun, much less a cheap production gun. It may be hit or miss on decent quality on the interior parts but the frame and slide are top notch.

The Norinco is a great no frills 45. Mine has 5000 rounds thru it and is still tight.Bill Wilson does work on Norincos,that speaks volumes.300 is a fair price.

any mil spec will fit almost all 7 rd mag will work with the norinco
I have one that shoots better than a colt that I have.
they are not allowed to import them anymore so enjoy it

I stuck a McCormick Easy-fit sear, hammer, and trigger in mine, and an old Colt's Series 70 barrel I had laying around, and a GI mag. The thing shoots well, is accurate, and very sturdy. Finish looks like a kid put it on with finger paint, but you can't have everything! 0
