Beretta BM59 ?'s

Just saw the Beretta BM59 up for auction on this site.Looks good and I've heard good & bad things about them.

I've never fired or owned one myself, but had a friend that owned one and he had a lot of problems with it.

Does anybody from this board have any personal experiences with them?
Don't know enough about them myself to form an educated opinion but would enjoy hearing what ya'll have to say about them because I would
like to maybe get one someday.

  mopar...cpermd had one and thought the world of it. He doesn't post much anymore but he was particularly effusive in his praise of the rifle. Don't know if you can contact him directly and ask him specific questions. Beach
