Selling/shipping of guns

When you sell a gun through the auction, do you have to ship it from an FFL? I understand it has to be sent to one.

There are some uninformed FFL's (read stupid) out there that think they can not accept a gun unless it's sent from a FFL.
If you sell have the buyer make sure his FFL is going a accept it from a private seller before you ship it.

I ship thru a FFL just because of the outrageous shipping prices,mine only charges me 10 bucks plus his shipping cost and thats cheaper than I can go ship it myself most of the time
