winchester 9422m xtr "help"

A couple christmas back my wife bought me a beautiful 9422 magnum xtr.Great wood,just an all around good looking gun.Now the problem,I have run every type and name brand of 22 mag rounds I could buy or order and this gun will not group closer than 6" at 50yrds,you cant hit the paper more than 5 out of 10 at 100yrds.Any ideas that may help,my wife ask me everytime I go to shoot why I dont take this gun and I dare not tell her you cant hit a barn wall with it,she might never buy me another and she buys me several,just bought me an Ed Brown custom 1911 for my birthday.any ideas that may help get this thing to shoot better would be greatly appreciated

  it might not be to far for a long shot, but it might just be the barrel crown
