which kinber?

i have narrowed my choices to either the pro carry II or the custom II. price is within $20 of the other, so not a consideration. i know the pro carry has a steel slide and a bushingless 4" bull barrel. The custom has a bushing and 5" barrel. this will not be a concelled carry. can anyone tell me pros/cons?

    Go with the Custom II Target. Very accurate with the 5" barrels.

    With a good holster and belt you should be able to conceal either one, but depending on your size, your clothing, and many other factors the larger the gun, the harder it is to totally conceal it.

    The custom II will suit you better. It will have less recoil and will generally be more accurate with a 5" barrel and a bushing. I own a CDP-Pro 4" and a Custom Classic Target 5". The 4" guns as good carry guns, but are harder to shoot as well as the heavier, longer barrel models.

    I'd take a 4" in 40S&W & a 5" in 45ACP.

    If size is not a consideration, definitely the custom II. It will shoot better than you can.

    I have a Gold Match and it has more accuracy than I will ever be able to use. A standard weight gun is also easier to handle if you are going to shoot quite a few rounds.
