Rather than letting me launch into a thesis on body control and all of the other aspects of shooter control, here is a site written by experts and containing a multitude of articles on shooting and shooter's techniques.

    http://www.bullseyepistol.com/

Pay close attention to the section marked "Perfecting Technique". Each line is an article or booklet that is contained on that website. All you have to do is select it and a new window opens up with that article or booklet. Nothing to buy, just read. The whole center column is a list of articles contained there, that's 53 articles! Free!

Here's another one: http://www.usnst.org/How to Shoot a Ten.doc (How to Shoot a Ten, Time After Time)

And here's one with pictures: http://www.chapmanacademy.com/tip072001.shtml

    It's all out there...

Hello I have been shooting nra BULLS-EYE for 39 years EVERYBODY has some shake It is called ark of movement there is a good vcr tape by Allen Fulfort the big thing is to try to dry fire to build up your arm and the mental part of mashing the trigger instead of trying to pick them off as the sight goes by the 10 ring one trick on the mental part is get a pistol with shorter sight radius or if you are useing a red dot sight go to a 8 or 12 minute dot this will not make you shake less but you will think there is less movement. Go to the small arms pistol school Camp Perry this july best there is. Cheers Karl

trick to controlling shake...ignore it and watch the front sight. if you have your feet fixed with an NPA established, you have nothing to worry about. shoot the first shot within 6 seconds before your muscles start tightening from lack of blood flow. raise the gun on the word 'line,' not before. ensure the gun is not being grasped and is resting forward in the middle 2 fingers. dont let the thumb or pinky do anything except go along for the ride. dont rest the thumb on the gun. you will see the shakes most in the RF string. you know its coming. you know its gonna happen, ignore it. most matches i shoot dont allow gloves. lose it. its just a distraction. if you smoke, dont stop. stay away from suger 3 days before the match. chalk your palms. keep your arms down below your waist waiting for the match. hope it helps.
