Sorry to say yes. The 7rd mags that I have are fair 5-6 rds most times without jamming. The 10 rd is junk and the 15 rd is putrid to say the least. Wish I give you some good news but I would get struck with lightning.[V]

Have to agree with the other poster! Demand your money back and get a Survival gun over under in 410/22 Hornet! You'll thank yourself!!

My buddy ordered me one of the cheaper copies and it was a POS as well. It jammed all the time and was the most inaccurate .22 I have ever seen. I honestly could not hit a 9" pie plate at 25 yds and scoping the gun is not a option because the barrel goes in the stock. I was very disappointed in the gun and didn't get it. He sent it back, I beleive.

Don't throw it away yet. I have the charter arms AR7 and it is fantastic....After I read this article.

I inherited a charter arms survival rifle. i have never had a problem with it. the ten and thirty round clips work fine for my rifle. I shoot remington golden bullets out of it and it rarely jams. can usually hit a pop can at 25 yards with it. i think it is one of the slowest cycling semi-autos i have ever shot.

That was my first gun. I could not fire more than 2 shots without it jamming up. Sent it back to the factory and got it back 5 months later. Same problem. The gun store paid me back my money in full. PIECE OF CRAP GUN!!!!!!

my CA AR7 did not feed well when I got it: the magazine rode too low in the well. I silver-soldered a small extensio onto the top of the magazine catch so it forced the mag higher, and now the feed is much more reliable Not 100%, but way better than before. I don't have the time to really sort this rifle out, but I think that it can be done.
Another project for my retirement years.
