Sig "G" Government Runs - Quality?
Anyone know anything about the quality or any issues with Sig Government runs? ie/ Sig P226 and 239 series in 40 and .357sig "G" runs? I keep looking at the discount these are carrying and wonder if there is a risk I don't know about.
Thanks,

I can't speak to the "Goverment Runs", but I have owned a few Sigs, and they have all preformed faultlessly. They have been and continue to be one of the best hand guns I have ever owned. In the ten years that I have been shooting their P220, 45 auto, I have not had one failure of any kind.
I cannot say hte same for any of the other hand guns that I use regularly. And I have never heard of any rpoblems with any of the productions runs from any model Sigs.
Hope this helps![8D]

I have no worries about normal Sig production run guns. I have owned two Sigs (both 220 series 45s) and have found them superb weapons.
My concern is whether there are quality or other issues with the "G" series production runs. Every time I see them for sale, they are discounted vs normal runs, but no chat or anything about why discounted. Anyone know why? Are they seconds?
Thanks,

Your best bet would be to post your question on the Sig forum. The guys there will be happy to give you chapter and verse, re your misgivings.
