Have Winchester of 1917 in the closet. 30-06 with Herter muzzle brake on it. Doesn't appear to be original. Not finding much info on this production. Post some thots on the rifle. Thanks, GW.

Just so the good Capt doesn't think that I am just goofing off with this post, the closest Winchester came to the 222 Remington in a lever-action was the Model 92 (real rare), and Model 65 both in 218 Bee. The Model 64 was offered in 219 Zipper... which is actually just a bit hotter than the 222 Remington.

There, how is that for an answer[:D]
