i have an old sxs that i can,t find info on in blue book or any other resource available.sxs 12ga. 3inch mag,marked "springfield model 511 patent pending savage arms westfield,mass. usa".has 28"barrels marked "proof tested 12 gauge 3 inch chamber".right hand barrel has 20 in circle,sp in diamond,left barrel has 13 in circle sp in diamond.somebody out there knows.all help appreciated

  Both Savage and Stevens (and Savage/Stevens) made firearms under the Springfield brand.
  
  You'll find the Model 511 SxS listed in the 2003 Standard Catalog of Firearms under "Stevens" at the end of the shotguns under "Springfield Brand".
