P-38 Worth

How much would a non-import 95%+ P-38 9mm be worth, It has a byf over 44 and has several waffens with a serial # of 6XXa, the bore is bright and shiney and the blue finish is almost perfect, all the stamps are crisp and clear.Thanks for any info in advance...

  You be better served by posting to the P 38 Forum. Their very knowledgeable, good folks. The more specific you are in your description, and if you have good quality photos, the easier it will be for them to give you a accurate appraisal.

  The byf 44 is like the number 1 MOST COMMON Nazi issued P.38.
  
  Still, in the codition you describe and with NO import stamp, figure about $350-$400 up (not much more up, but up).

  "byf" is the German Ordnance Code that was assigned to Mauser-Werke, Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany....and the "44" is the year of manufacture.
