FIE .22 Question
I recently acquired a FIE "Buffalo Scout" .22 single action revolver, Model E15. I am confused about whether this revolver can fire .22 LR and .22 mag interchangeably. I can't really find any info on it. The barrel is marked .22 LR and the cylinder is unmarked but appears to be capable of accepting the magnum ammunition.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
That's what I thought.
But how would I tell the difference?
Would the mag cylinder be marked?0 -
A 22MAG. WILL NOT FIT INTO THE LONG RIFLE CYLINDER, IT'S CASE IS LARGER IN DIAMETER THAN THE LR.. HOWEVER YOU SHOULD NOT SHOOT LR IN THE MAG CYLINDER ALTHOUGH IT WILL FIT IT WILL BE LOOSE . USUALLY THE CYLINDERS ARE MARKED IN SMALL LETTERS AND ALSO THE L.R. CYLINDER IS FLUTED AND THE MAG. IS NOT .IF YOU ONLY GOT ONE CYLINDER YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO FIRE ONE OR THE OTHER DEPENDING ON WHICH ONE YOU HAVE.YOU MAY ALSO SHOOT SHORTS AND LONGS IN THE L.R. CYLINDER.
