FN 1922 .32 Auto WWII Nazi
Fellas - I have a WWII Waffenmarked Mod 1922 (7.62/.32) and it has sound but well-worn checkered wood stocks. I have seen several at GB Auctions with black plastic/bakelite/rubber type stocks. I wonder whether mine are correct. Did FN put out a variety of stocks? On the pistol, all numbers match (not on mag) so I was thinking I had a pistol that was original in composition if not condition. Any thoughts? Thanks. Jim

Jim,
The wood is correct also. The early ones have the bakelite grips. They were intermixed and discontinued early on. Most of the waffenamt'ed ones do have wood. I have one of each model myself. The mags were not serialized.
