.380 balls out of a '51 navy???????
I have a uberti replica 1851 navy--.36 caliber.
Normally, they are loaded with a .376 ball.
I have two chambers that are too big and do not sheer off the little metal ring when I load a .376 ball. If I move up to .380, will I have any problems????

I would slug the barrel to make sure what size it is before I thought of making any decision. 0 -
.380" is what I use in mine. It should work fine. 0 -
The 380's should be just fine. I would recommend that you slightly chamfer the mouths of the cylinder chambers. This way the ball SWAGES down, giving you a longer bearing surface to take the rifling, and also maintains more uniform weight. (It's also cleaner.)
