CZ97B Stainless (Mark Christian)
Saw a stainless,as least it looked stainless,CZ97B.Never saw one before and was told they were not available in the states only the European market.Anyone have any info on this.I would like one of these but don't think I can jump thru all the hoops required to import a handgun.Mark Christian,my well-traveled and most learned FFL,can you shed any light on this.I know military weapons are another story and thought the Europeans had a "military caliber ban".I am confused!!!

Some countries have bans in place on civilian ownership of firearms chambered for military caliber but many do not...like Switzerland. I really don't know about the availability of a stainless CZ97B but if you can locate an example overseas and want to import it for yourself you will need to file an ATF Form 6. Since the CZ97 is already approved for importation by the BATFE there should be few problems simply importing another variation of the same handgun.
