Problem
Have a 20 gauge Ruger over/under. Bought new six months ago. The upper barrel firing pin sometimes does not hit the primer hard enough to detonate the primer. I have cleaned the firing pin area and taken the stock off to clean. I found a small piece of stock wood that I thought was causing the problem. It still does it once out of 150 shells. Any help would be appreciated. (Mechanical trigger.)
Thanks.
Thanks.

Can anyone give me some information on my Winchester Model 50 serial # 55635....Question...Is this serial # 55635 as they were manufactured....I purchased the gun in 1955.....Still in good condition but it only shoots one shell at a time and is very slow in the recoil...want to know if this is due to the short brass shell or do I need a new spring in the recoil or will adjustments do the job...Is there any place I can purchase the blueprints of this gun and the working mechanisim's and parts.... 0 -
I would return it to Ruger and let them sort if out under their warranty. 0 -
Yeah, I sent them a mini-30 that I bought used. They fixed it for free and paid the shipping back to me. It took about 8 days to get my gun back.

Agree 100% with above advice ... let Ruger fix it for you. They are good people to deal with and repairs are generally turned around very quickly.
