Need Help Identifying A Weapon From A Movie

The weapon I am enquiring about is the weapon the baddie in my picture wields the big long revolver

    Probably just a movie prop; not a real revolver?
    Looks like a vent rib, maybe an unfluted cylinder, looks blue.
    My guess is Dan Wesson.
    Just a guess, though! [:p]

    This is the only good pic I can find of him with it I soppose if someone has the DvD or video of last action hero they can see the weapon properly

    If I remember correctly (IIRC), the revolver is a Manurhin MR73 Silhouette with a 10-3/4" barrel and adjustable rear sight system for long range. I don't have a copy of the movie but I will always stand to be corrected. As an aside, Manurhin was purchased by Chapuis Armes and is still be produced in France.

    looks to me like its called ray-bans

    it's not the type of gun you have in the heat of a battle that counts, only if you have enough ammo for it, lets face it, a gun without ammo is only as good as a base ball bat!!

    Ive wanted one since I saw it Jake But Stupid UK Law says I can own one legally so it means I cant own one

    Stupid Lame polititians think as soon as a person who is responcible gets a gun they will shoot a person on site bah
