Value is base on Condition, Originality and most importantly Demand.

The Demand for a refinished, unknown, Italian .25 Auto is minuscule.

Can't find anything in my books. Do you really think its worth putting money into?I would think the only market would be to an unknowing buyer thats sold on the new finish.

i picked this up in trade for work done at the shop. the guy who owned it was a dentist, and made several poor attepts to gold, silver, and nickel plate several handguns in his garage. at this point, realisticly, i have $0.00 invested in the gun.

the gun seems to be a close copy of the older series of WALTHER semiautomatic pistols. i know that TAFOGLIO has a poor rep today, and has produced some real dogs. this seems to be a decent gun of mid level quality. the design is interesting, and the takedown procedure that is assisted via the saftey lever is unusual. TRIPLE K has a picture, and a brief description. they mention the odd takedown method. i found one line mentions in 3 other books.

it costs me nothing ($0.00) to get a gun proffesionaly refinished. i do work for the guy and his company, mostly research and fact finding, wich he credits me with in labor trade.

the grips (hard black rubber, NUMRICH ARMS) only cost me $12.00 plus shipping.

for less then the cost of a 2-topping pizza i get an uncomman, interesting, proffesionaly european / mauser pistol blued handgun with brand new grips.

i like to put oddball, obsolete, and unusual neglected guns back into shooting condition. i have rescued a MAS 36 BOLT ACTION RIFLE, STAR MODEL A 1922 VARIANT SEMIAUTOMATIC PISTOL, CZ24 SEMIAUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 99 ARISAKE SHORT RIFLE, etc...

i shoot them and enjoy them. best regards, mike.
