On the frame it has:

The blue is very good.
It has an US military holster made in 1942 with metals hooks.

Does anyone have any idea of the age or value of a Colt 45 Government Model? The Serial No. is 269XXX-C, and I bought it in May of 1968. I've been told that it has been accurized by Giles.
Any information would be appreciated!

Your pistol is not a original Colt. It was assembled from aftermarket parts.
Essex Arms, the folks who made the receiver, started in business making parts in the 1970's.
Because of this your pistol, unfortunately has little collectors value. The only demand would be from shooters who would want it as a functional firearm.
My WAG, based on condition is that it's worth between $200 & $400.
