Springfield 1911 slide
I have a gentleman interested in purchasing this slide from me but neither one of us are sure on a price. It is a Springfield Armory U.S.A. 1911slide. It has the war eagle on the Rt side and" model of 1911 US Army "on the same side.It also has the arsenal bomb on the left rear. Its about 85-90% of original finish with one scratch where someone tried putting the slide stop in from top down, but its a surface scratch. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I want to be fair on pricing this item fair for the both of us. Thanks in advance! Larry

You don't say if it is a stripped slide or if it is complete. And that will make at least $20-25 difference.
Suggest that you search the auctions for similar completed sales over the last 90 days and come up with an average based on that info. Ignore the listing prices and just focus on the ones that sold.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0 -

its a complete slide as far as the extractor and firing pin. Its minus the barrel and bushing. 0 -
Larry, a Springfield 1911 slide with 85-90% original blue finish and original rounded rear sight and the original front sight(integral part of the slide) should bring between $250 and $300. Without the sights i would reduce it by $50. I paid $150 for one all original in about 90% 4 years ago. 0 -
