Std. Catalog shows "birth" between Mar and July of 1991.

Quality for that era is typically good. But I have a bias for older Smith's ... which BTW dosen't stop me from acquiring newer ones[:D]

As for value ... at 100% $500 +/- $25-$30 and in some markets there will be a slight premium for a 4 inch bbl.

    ContenderMan:

1)Did your Standard Catalog of S&W, actually, show the serial number range, that my gun's serial number(BHJ-1309)was in(Or, did you need to interpolate this?)?

2)If my gun's serial number range(Is listed in the SCSW?)then, would you tell me, on what page, this can be found(As I will then, try to find, the latest edition, of the SCSW, in my local Book Stores?)so I can read this information, myself? I will appreciate your doing this? Thanks also, for your "Input" here!

3)Do you know of a S&W contact(Phone number or Emil Address?)where such information, about any S&W handgun, could be obtained?

Page 296 Mar. 1991 Started with BHE and Jul. 1991 Started with BHJ8613, so hence "between Mar. '91 and Jul '91".
