P08 Luger Value
I found myself in an awkward position,I work with a man who has offered me a P08 Luger pending a fair offer from my part. As far as we can tell this gun is made up of two guns from the serial numbers on the parts. The barrel has the crown and a N underneath it.From The LUGER BOOK,By John Walters,we have come to the conclusion that this gun is from the Neatherlands. His book is rather hard for me to follow. But I would appreciate any futher info and a fair value on this gun.It has the brown wood grips, one magazine with wood bottom,Fairly nice condition. At the safty lever there is the German starting with a G.( I cannot remember how to spell it)The serial number is a 4 digit number under the barrel and the rest are 2 digits.I was told by another source that this was a commercial gun and not a military gun. I would like anymore info to confirm this. Thanks all who take the time to read this.

There is a Luger forum http://www.lugerforum.com/ if you will post your question there someone will give you information. 0 -
you don't give enough info... caliber? barrel? serial number? remember, only last 2 digits will appear on may parts. IF it is truly assembled from 2 guns I would say it has shooter value of $500 max, depending upon condition.
