I'd be very happy if it brought 225-275 on gunbroker. Condition is everything!

Hi, K&M...SOG is selling them for $160 without the bayo. The one I got could only be called fair at best. I think torq's estimate is a good one.

ya know...ive been watching your gun posts for some time, and for someone who always claims to not know much about the guns in your posession, you sure do come up with a variety of different guns every week! it just strikes me as odd on how you know your nomenclature so well and all the right questions always seem to be asked! [:D] do you own a blue book. it might save you some typing! [:D] when you get to hi standard guns, let me know. its my specialty!

BOBSKI ,High Standard "Hombre" nickel, excellent cond. value? Is 200. out of line? thanks...also "Blue Book" really is a large ballpark figure, seems like area is the most important aspect IMO. nambu p.s. really wild swings as far as the book goes, sure would like to sell some at the price they have.

sounds right to me. hi std revolvers have been sleepers for eons. now, because all the good ones are taken up, cheapo hi stds are coming out and becoming the rage. but no matter how you look at it, they are cheapo guns! to find an alloy gun not messd up is what makes them collectible. supermatics were and always will be the best ever. the best revolvers are found close to the old conn factory area of the usa..

K&M, I wasn't sure at first how to read Bob's reply. Methinks it may be a backhanded compliment! I guess I tend to look for the good...The most savvy on this forum still have a ton of unanswered questions...I should not try to explain for Bob, that's just how I see it....Enjoy your Sunday..[:D]

it was a compliment. i wish more people knew about guns than golf on this earth. i think why my post was misundertood was that i for one know gun basics. parts, mfg'ers, assy, etc.. afterall, im an expert. its just is hard to believe that someone with such a great gun inventory and holding basic gun knowledge as our poster does, wouldnt know the basics of value. thus, to improve the posters experience, i suggested the blue book. thats all. i wanted them to have all the best at their fingertips for the days we weren't able to field the questions. no offense intended. its not my nature.
