Im trying to list a stolen gun taken 20 yrs ago. Any reliable data bases that I can use? What are the web sites?

I'd recommend that You go to your local Police department...They have access to the Federal data base, as to where you could never go, on your own....

The only national data base is maintained by the Dept of Justice. When a gun is stolen & reported to the police, the police enter the serial # into the data base. It's obviously a little late to file a police report, but you might want to ask your local police if they are willing to submit the gun. Of course, you must have proof that you are the legal owner of the gun, such as sales receipt or copy of government transfer approval.
