ruger skeet shotgun..year?model?worth?

i am thinking of buying this shotgun..can anyone shed some light on the year and model and worth..it is a ruger over and under with a red recoil pad that says ruger on it..the only info on the gun is when it is open up,on one side of the barrel it says skeet and on the other side it says 20ga 3inch..the forearm has the quick release snap and no bolt..thanks in advance,brian!serial number is 400-0936x

  sounds like a ruger red label 20ga skeet. 750-800.00 used approx.
