I.D this bullet (pic)

To the left is a 7.62x39 hp. To the right I think a 308? not real sure.On the headspace it has a plus sign in a circle then R G 8 5. Thanks for any help.

Believe it's British, 7.62 x 51 (.308 ), NATO standard ammo, made in Radway Green arsenal in 1985.

D@D, rufe's ID is 100% correct. The cross in circle is found on all ammo made for use by NATO forces - you will see it on 7.62x51 (which is almost identical to .308, although a purist would demur in a few details) and 9x19 (Parabellum or Luger). From the pattern of scratches, it looks as though this round was originally in a belt but has been de-linked.
