I prefer holsters, but have friends that have been using belt clips for years on various revolvers and pistols and they like 'em.

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

The one gun I would not use a belt clip on is a Glock. I may be over-cautious, but I want that trigger guard covered.

The only thing worse than lawbreakers, are lawmakers.

Ditto, on what CFPython says. no need to say more.

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

My Glock, bought in '87, didn't need breaking in but I had to get used to the trigger.
I've got the belt clip and don't see any problem using the standard weight trigger unless you're careless.
With the belt clip in place you can't take the gun apart because it keys into the takedown notch.
The belt clip opening is narrow and has to clip on the pants, not a standard thickness belt.
The G19 stays in place well with the clip.

    Thanks to each!

CM, I've got holsters that fit it, but the convenience and concealment with shorts and a T is what I'm after.

    CFP and Flat,
    "over-cautious" is good advice always,
but I'm used to a belly gun
and serious about not hurting myself or others! [;)]

    v35,
I shouldn't have called it a "beltclip" as their own term is
"clipdraw" I believe. The type of advice/tip about take-down is what I was seeking.
BTW, Glock or not, "break-in" is something I have to do for my own confidence before I'm gonna carry a new one. Again, maybe wrong word usage...but a thousand rounds through it and I'll KNOW what it does...[:D]
