have a old 1894 half round half octagon 25-1/4 inch barrel nickel plated receiver metal butt plate 30wcf ser 258172 sent for a letter form cody but didn't say much about it anyone know more about it thanks cdv

  Winchester 1894 - My Grand fathers Winchester 1894 serial #1996XX was sent in to the Winchester company and converted into a 30-30 from a 38-55 several years ago. What would it take to convert it back?

  Serial Number 325419 was Produced in 1905,,,Numbers began at 311364 and ended at 337557 for the 1905 Production Run...
  You have a Saddle Ring Carbine with Carbine Sights....Value will depend upon Condition.....A junker is worth up to several hundered Dollars for parts... A Shooter maybe worth $500.00..One in Good Condition $700 to ....the Skies the limit....Actually need a very detailed discription to place an intelligent Value......
