I have been a Shotgun News subscriber for many years and have yet to hear of those folks. What kind of Mil. Surp. arms are they ffering and where are they located? Perhaps I just have not seen their ads but there are a lot of better established/known companies out there that you may want to start out with. SOG (Southern Ohio Gunworks ), Interordnace and Classic Arms come to mind. Anyone else out there heard of these guys...I would be interested to know as well.

they are in Ocaia, FL. They sell the 38 , 44 , 91/30 Mosin Nagant Russian military rifles. I am in the process of getting all of the basic military rifles of WWII. The standard models of the Mosin Nagant sell for $49.95 I was just wondering what they look like?

I bought two model 38 Mosin Nagants from them recently for $50 each, arsenal refinished, in excellent condition. The rifles were as described and I thought they were a very good buy.

It has always been hard to tell what a companies desciption is like and what you really get in the end! I learned the hard way when I first got my C&R about who to trust and who was essentially out to hose me! Another issue; it seems to me like some people have good experiences with with a company and others have poor luck! I know people who wouldn't pee on SOG if they were on fire and had to take a piss really bad, but they have been really, really good to me. I got a few duds from them and the situation was rectified immediately. Wait a minute...did you mean what did their guns conditions look like or what do the guns themselves look like? Hope I didn't take the wrong tack here...let me know.

Try going to a gunshow first. I went to a local one a couple of weeks ago and saw some Russian WW2 rifles priced at $69.95. To me, if I was interested in one, being able to actually see one for real and inspect it would be the way to go.

Tend to agree with Rebel James. Seeing is believing! Look on GB here for listings of those types of models and I think you will get a pretty good cross sectional view of the Soviet guns in general.
