American Rifleman Collection

Anyone have an idea how much a collection of every NRA American Rifleman magazine, dating from about the late 1950's through 2002 might be worth? My dad kept everyone of them. They all seem to be in good condition and have been neatly stored in book binders since about the 1960's,(at least I can recall seeing them in binders when I was a child).

    i have from 1945 to 2000. 'excellent conditions' for for 35.00 to 50.00 per year bound in 'nra 3 rings.'

    The last 25 years are really worth nothing. In the GunList, copies sell for about a buck each. Older magazines are worth a little more.

    not for sale. i was just saying i have them and i know what they are worth since most were ordered bulk as a set thru mag collectors. rfor the readers pleae note, the 30.00 per year was mostly spent on the correct circa yellow hardcover binder they were kept in. btw...i stopped collecting anything after 2000.

    I've only scantly reviewed a part of what my dad had. Its possible his collection goes back further. I'll try and find out this weekend.

    I love to read the old magazines, my favorite thing is to look at those old suggested retail prices and then crank up the time machine fantasy.

    on the time machine thing.....just remember youd be going back in time and your wage would be relevent to the period. so, a 200.00 m-12 winchester would mean a whole months wage...just like a really good gun is today.
