browning shotgun
I have a Browning Auto-5 semiautomatic 20 gauge shotgun. It is about 20 years old. It is still in the box, never shot and never even put together. I even have the original reciept, about $600 new.

I am searching for some hard to find info on a Browning double which has Beligum markings. Nice gun and has "twelvette" engraved on it. Last make somewhere around 1969. Have some info but Internet search is for nought right now. 12 ga, semi-auto, 28" barrel.
Thanks in advance, Franko0 -
gmckitten: Need a little more info. Is your A5, Belgian made or was it made in Japan by Miroku? Is the butt stock pistol grip, a round knob, or cut flat on the bottom. Are your barrels plain, vetilated rib, or solid rib. I would expect the barrels to have blue almost like new, how is the blue on the receiver? What condition is the wood. Has the butt stok been cut and a recoil pad added. Answer the questions, and I'm sure one of us can give you an estimate of it's value. regards Dave 0 -
I think what part of the country your in will have a bearing on what the Browning will bring.Where I live any good Belgian A-5 will bring 1000 dollars up,but I have spoke with people from other places that tell me they sell for about the same price as a Remington 1100,or about 350.(I live in Upstate S.C.) 0
