restoration
I am looking for a source to have an 1886 Winchester originally restored. Minimal mechanical,blueing, case hardening,wood refinishing. The problem is finding some one who does high quality work that can be trusted. I know there out there I just do not know who they are.

Keep in mind that a gun is only original once.
I personally would take care of any mechanical troubles
and leave the finish alone. 1010 -
Restoration is a tough decision to make, but if you've reached that point then "101st" has given you two of the best in the business. The work won't be cheap but the end product will be top of the line. 
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
