Colt AR-15
At first the Colt AR-15 used a different pin for connection with the upper receiver. Now that they got that fixed, will they/have they ever had lower receive with the notches above the selector switch (to prevent over turning the switch) like a M16? Everyone else offers this.

Colt AR-15
What is the difference between the Colt models of AR-15? There is a Match target, Sporter match, Sporter competition, Competition match target. I'm sure there are others. Also what colt model will be the most accurate out of the box, I'm looking at a Sporter Compition HBAR with a 20 inch barrel and a 1:7 twist. Would I be better going with an older model? ( SP-1 )0 -
who ever told you that was right. 1:9 is for lighter bullets and a 1:7 would be for heavy 75-80 grain bullets. a lot of match grade rifles have a 1:8 or 1:7 rate of twist so they can fire heavier bullets which are more accurte at longer ranges. 0 -
Actualy the "fast" twist rate would be the 1/7...one rotation in seven inches and the "slow" twist rate is 1/12...one rotation in twelve inches. The heavier bullet stabilizes better with the faster spin. The lighter bullets get over torqued and destabilize. Most mfgrs produce 1/9 twist for the best all around shooting.[;)] 0
