trigger adj. on Ruger #1

I got my new Ruger #1 in a 204 today, it shoots great but the trigger pull is outrageous. Can any of you Ruger guys advise me how to adjust it for a lighter pull. Do I turn the trigger spring screw or sear screw and which direction for a lighter pull. The Ruger book tells me squat. Thanks Larry
