.45acp Cabella's sabots
I noticed in the Cabella's catalog they have .45 sabots for muzzle loaders. Can these sabots be used in .45acp cartridges with smaller diameter bullets for increased velocity?

It depends on the total weight of the sabot and its' bullet/ball.
Compare it with the bullet weights of super high speed specialty ammo out there like Magtech, Glaser, Triton etc. If you find similar weights you should be able to match their velocities using an equivalent weight payload. Be careful working up your loads.0
