What 357 DA would you recommend for Con.Carry license???

I bought a S&W 340PD. All it is good for is concealed, it is not a target or plinker gun.
It is, however, light weight and hammerless.
Also, I like the Colt Python with 4 inch barrel. A lot heavier and harder to conceal, but a fine weapon.

2", 2 1/2" or even a 3" Python..That is if your not concerned with size. Also you can scrap the >357 idea and go with the S&W 442 with ++P's for a good solid hitter.

Ruger SP101. Small enough for concealed carry, enough weight to control magnum rounds. Great little gun.

I have a S&W 640 Centennial. A BEEFIER version of the 340PD in .357. It was a special factory production run with a Tally(?)night sight in front. Go hammerless, one less thing to invite "Mr. Murphy" along. I purchased a SOB Stealth holster from Ted Blocker and have been very happy. Definitely personal protection, not a target handgun.
My two cents.0 -
Ruger SP101 is what I carry in an inside the waist band holster. A lot of fire power in a small well built package. 2 reloads in Bianchi speed strips in the pocket. 0 -
A lot depends on your ability to manage a small frame .357 with accurate hits. The Ruger would be a good choice. Frankly I would recommend loading up with 38 +Ps until you are sure you can place 357s accurately. You might want to stay with the +Ps as the muzzle flash/noise are somewhat less problematic for CCW use.

Really depends on your build, the size of your hands, where you want to carry, and your ability to shoot stoutly recoiling factory ammunition.
If you're a beefy guy with a spare tire, you can carry topside of hip, just behind the hip, vertically under your arm, or in an accessory case like a Dayplanner if you stick with 2-3 inch barrels. Weight of the gun won't be much of a factor if you're large.
If you're not beefy at all; you can stash a coupla guns, a vest, two blondes and a redhead under a tee shirt, so you could carry almost anything, anywhere.
Tiny guns are a drag to shoot with big hands, and vice versa; but remember that a smooth draw is a prerequisite, and necessitates smooth wood/polymer grips so they don't print or drag on your clothes.
Porting a short-barrelled revolver helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip, and gives you a great view of your target between the flames.
Essentially, you want a smooth-drawing, non-printing, ported, high capacity, light-to-moderate weight, accurate to 50yds firearm that you can operate effectively, that also happens to be a 357. HMMMM.
Think I'd go with either a 10-shot 357Sig or an 8-shot Taurus in 357Mag. If you can find a Witness in 357Sig; buy it!
If you know it all; you must have been listening.<br>WEAR EAR PROTECTION!0 -

Double Action Revolver ? KSP-321XL
A little heavy, but it shoots well and will last forever.0 -
Got to go with the SP101 on this one. It pains me to say it, but Ruger makes a great revolver in the 101! 0 -
I have both a S&W 640 357 and an SP-101 both with the shorter barrels. The Smith is a little lighter and slightly more concealable, but the extra weight of the Ruger really help in soaking up recoil. Basically carry whatever you feel confortable with and ALWAYS have it with you with at least 1 full reload... If you carry the mag loads, you can singe the eyebrows of the bad guy with the muzzle blast, even if you don't hit him.[:D] 0
