Guns don't have fingerprints; they have signatures that can be changed in a moment.

Just one tip. Whatever you do, DO NOT ask Hillary.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Only some have film.

Go to your local county sheriffs office and ask for application for permit. You usually need 4 references and some fingerprints taken. Your references will fill out a character sheet on you and send it in. Then the sheriff will conduct a thorough background check and if pass all that then youll probably get some type of permit. Either carry, premise or range and target, this all depends on what area you live in and what county you reside in.

God gave us all a gift. Have you found yours yet ?

NY is tough on pistols. I had a carry permit for the state of CT. from 1988 to 1992 when I lived there. Moved to Suffolk Cnty NY in 1992, applied for a pistol permit that same week of move. They (suffolk County Police Pistol Licensing Bureau) kept my pistols for six months before they handed me a target permit only. Go figure!
Look into taking a small arms safety course, join a club like the NY Rifle & Pistol Association and also a local Rod & Gun Club. It all helps with the permit process.
