Imatronic LS45

I recently aquired an Imatronic LS45 laser sight. I contacted the company which now owns the Imatronic line. Imatronic was bought and re-bought by several companies and all info on old products was lost. If anyone happens to now about this laser please share. Would love to know what weapon it was designed for.
