Fausti Shotguns???

Are their over under shotguns any good? Wallmart sells one for $500, I was looking to buy my nephew one. Any trouble with these guns?

Bought one from Wally's two years ago, Chambered in 3", chrome barrels, multiple chokes, nice engraving.
Swings like a dream, recoil is about right for an O/U...Fausti-Stefano has a website, they've been making shotguns for years.
The model that WMart carries is made by Fausti, Imported by Traditions, and a 'special model' for Wmart...

i have shoot that brand about two times and both times loved it. it is a good gun for the price.

IMHO, Yes, it is an excellent gun for the price. I have a O/U 20ga. Upland II and find it to be a very well made shotgun.

Do they use their own type of choke tubes, or can they use another brand (Mossberg, remington, etc.)?

Slider, i think it was Carlson choke tubes. Traditions has extended tubes for the 12ga. but not for the 20ga. I e-mailed them about it and they refered me to Carlson if i wanted some.
